Presa/apbt/ebt or presa/doberman/ebt? I notice most (though not all) of the bully greys you post are from the UK. Traditionally they used to call them "bull lurchers" and it was aussies with ebt x grey pig dogs that called them "bully greys", but I guess some lingo has probably crossed over both ways thanks to the internet. In England they usually do apbt or staff x grey, and I think they were a bigger thing back when hunting with dogs was legal. I was there on "the hunting life" uk forum in 2004 when it became illegal, before that they had these bull lurchers hunting deer a lot, occasionally badgers too which they'd kill outright, and foxes. But I think it was the bigger deer that were the main target for these bull lurchers. I'm sure it still goes on, and I think these pictures are hinting at that reality, I mean the fact they are still breeding what are clearly working bull lurchers (and I agree, they look great), but you won't see much action posted online anymore.

Yep, I saw them chatting amongst themselves. Like "yeah I'll hop a fence if I have to, fuck this government, catch me if ya can righties!" I'm pretty sure you saw the video of the 2 lurchers on the big red stag in Ireland that was being complained about by greenies. It happens.

Exactly, presa x ebt x apbt Damn, that was going to be my guess but it looked too EBT in the face and Presa in the body for me to think APBT.

Looks like a machine. A lot of PP guys started liking ebts a lot because of their intensity. Apbts tend to be more chill. You could see on the 13th legion forum the ebt appreciation was starting to filter in. I actually wonder if that breeding was possibly done by someone connected to 13th legion.

Just one thing, what does "refuse to scratch" mean? Refuse to abandon the arena?

Refuse to scratch means refuse to continue to fight. After they break them up they'll take them back to their corner and check if they are still pulling and scrambling their feet "scratching" on the ground eagerly trying to get at the other dog. When they "cur out" and don't want to fight anymore they will visibly not wish to continue and not be pulling to get at the other dog.
