Apparently sun bears spend more time in trees than any other bear and hold the crown for "most aboreal". Even without knowing this I would have speculated they'd be the best climbers by sheer virtue of their small size and the perks that come with that. In every bear species the cubs are better climbers than the adults because being small helps. I think sun bears are probably so small specifically as an adaptation to climbing.

Polar bears might be too heavy to climb trees but they can at least climb cliffs to get a bird colonies and their eggs. There are also a lack of trees in their area.

Another one: Andean bears are true arboreal bears, using their long, sharp front claws to climb and forage for food. As they search for food in the forest, Andean bears live an arboreal lifestyle. They sometimes build leafy platforms in the trees, both in the wilderness and in zoos, which they may use to sleep and to feed. Because food is available year-round where they live, Andean bears are active year-round and do not spend months inactive in dens, as do American black bears or brown bears. animals.sandiegozoo.org/animals/andean-spectacled-bear
