Might buy one of them but wondering which is easiest to keep alive. Because I don't know or care I got chat gtp to answer - Both centipedes and scorpions can be kept in terrariums, but their care requirements differ slightly. In terms of ease of care, it depends on the specific species of centipede or scorpion you choose, as different species have varying needs. However, in general, scorpions tend to be slightly easier to care for compared to centipedes. Here are some factors to consider: Habitat setup: Scorpions usually require a simpler habitat setup. They need a suitable substrate for burrowing, a hiding place or shelter, and a shallow water dish. Centipedes, on the other hand, may require a more complex setup with plenty of hiding spots, climbing structures, and a deeper substrate for burrowing. Feeding: Both centipedes and scorpions are carnivorous and feed on live prey. Scorpions typically have slower metabolisms and can go for longer periods without food. They are usually fed insects like crickets or mealworms, and their feeding frequency is lower compared to centipedes. Centipedes are often more active predators and may require more frequent feedings. Handling: Neither centipedes nor scorpions are typically handled regularly, as they can be defensive and potentially deliver painful bites or stings. However, scorpions generally have a more predictable and less aggressive behavior compared to centipedes, making them slightly easier to handle if necessary. Temperament: Centipedes tend to be more aggressive and fast-moving compared to scorpions. Some centipede species have venomous bites that can cause discomfort or mild reactions, while scorpion stings can be painful but are usually not dangerous unless an individual has an allergic reaction. It's important to note that specific care requirements can vary between species, so it's essential to research the particular species you plan to keep and understand their specific needs to ensure proper care. Always prioritize the welfare of the animal and make sure you are comfortable with their unique characteristics before deciding which one to keep. ----------------------------- I hate Chat Gtp, it will be the death of us all.

Might buy one of them but wondering which is easiest to keep alive. Scorpions have a more durable armored exoskeleton in my humble naturalist opinion but from what I’ve seen centipedes almost always win the fights. They’re prolly similar in terms of hardiness since they both live in the desert. I lean centipede tho actually.

Thanks... Chat GTP is awful but finally it is actually useful. What sucks is it is almost too useful. It knows more than google and wikipedia tbh. It seems to know more obscure niche stuff that only a handful of experts know about each topic. All the books I want to write... chat gtp is NEARLY at a place where it could write them. Soon it will be. I actually am racing against the clock to get mine out.

It would be an interesting experiment to see if you climb to the top of the heap.

Centipedes are definitely scarier and more badass. I kind of love/hate them. I hate encountering them, they give me the creeps more than basically anything else.
