Those other breeds were banned before we even had them. So yeah that was pretty effective in preventing us from having them, but we already had pitbulls so they continue unhindered. There's really no shortage of pitbulls at all, I see them regularly. I see more pure apbts than pure ebts, easily. But no I never ever see dogos, filas or tosas. The ban was effective in preventing them from being here. |

Lol, evidently any dog that attacks someone instantly labels its entire kind a dangerous horrendous monster unless it has gotten the "OK" signal like the Staffy has. Like the recent Great Dane attacks- also known as Bully Kutta attacks. Now some want them banned. Lol, should've never been imported to the UK though. 99% of Bully Kuttas in the UK are actually Great Danes but whatever. It's really 100% but 1% are true legit imports from Pakistan. |

I think the dogo argentino ban in Australia illustrates the absurdity of breed bans better than anything. It's so ridiculous if you understand dogs in Australia, like most of our dogs are "dogo argentinos" or worse, just not named that breed, but exactly the same thing.
