Must have, what a homo. Didn't think he really would. I don't get why people can't just leave. We must have the highest deleted account to active account ratio of any forum, and I'm the admin and I didn't even do any of the deletions save for maybe one or two of hammerhead's. What is it about foodchain in particular that makes people commit suicide? lol Think the field of AVA just invites a lotta weirdos. More so than even reptile or mma communities who have a lotta weirdos already. Might be a sign for you to try to attract some other audience. Maybe dog moms so Bolushi gets practice talking to chicks. We could be a canid focused wildfact/domainofbears if we invite some more quality wolf and other wild canid fans over and balance it out with some dog keepers so we have some of both sides. You still talk to black ice? No I have no contact with anyone. I think a lot of people who ran afoul of Taipan would post if they knew about it, but yeah I don't know how to find anyone.

I'll try to get the normal guy here. Sadly the other canid fans aren't interested but you wouldn't want some of them anyway.

Lol, why delete your account? I don't see the point. Because my brain is not like yours. If I continue posting on this forum, and then randomly abandon it the urge to go back is going to come back. Its like nicotine except this time with this forum. Do it one too many times, now it feels you need to go back. So if I delete my account then I can’t post on that account. Problem solved.

Reddhole, Lycaon, Brogan, Vita, Normal Guy, Black Ice - those are the canid fans I can think of that would be great additions (vita was arguably more Hyena-fan than canid-fan for the last decade or so, but still).

Is reddhole the same guy as redmatter? Yea the canid fans I talked to so far weren't any of those you mentioned

You're right, I forgot Canidae, he was good.
I don't think reddhole is redmatter. Reddhole was probably the smartest animal forum guy ever, he may have moved on to bigger and better things.

California is pretty damm good I got coyotes, raccoons, bobcats, deer and great horned owl in my neighborhood. Have a chicken coop in your backyard and you'd attract all sorts of predators. Black bears and cougars a short drive away Elk and wolves an hour away via car. elephant seals, sea lions, great white sharks and orcas pretty close as well. We also have introduced wild boar which can get as big as anywhere else in the world outside of maybe texas and russia. South west USA is good. I think there's somewhere in central New Mexico that has Elk, White tail, Mule deer, Bighorn sheep, Pronghorn antelope, boars, javelina, wolves, mountain lions, black bear, coyotes, gray fox, red fox, kit fox, american badger, armadillos, jackrabbits, mustangs, feral cattle and possibly even Bison? That's a hell of a line up. Yeah. Texas is actually a great state since you get many of these animals as well as animals from the Southeast of the US. This assortment includes alligator, alligator snapping turtle, and many of the coastal fauna of the sea. That being said, you should go to Yellowstone since the park is considered the 'American Serengeti', and the bison are longtime residents as opposed to the reintroduced bison in the other national parks.

Are all the others reintroduced? I know Bison did naturally range from Alaska to Mexico, so I thought many of the scattered populations would be "remnant" rather than introduced.

Going to Yellowstone in about a week. Going to do some wolf watching. And Bison are basically everywhere in Yellowstone, last year when I went seen them everywhere. I also think when considering this topic we should look at diversity vs density. For instance, Yellowstone, northern Idaho, and Montana, seem to be some of the more untouched and dense for wildlife(in USA). Decent versatility too(wolves, coyotes, raccoons, elk, moose, bison, deer, cougars, black bears, grizzly bears, badger, Wolverine, otters etc). Honestly out of the states I would say California is the most diverse. Alaska and northern Idaho are supposed to be the most wild, natural, and most wildlife out of US land. I agree with Hardcastle, I would have guessed Africa too. But that makes sense why Asia would be number one, basically has everything… the land mass and geography helps with the diversity. Canada has lots of untouched land and plenty of wildlife too. But there really isn’t a province that has everything when it comes to versatility. Montana or Idaho would have many more different species of wildlife imo. And also Canada has some really shitty dog hunting laws to top it off… lol

Fuck, it would be 100x better if there were NO hunting laws at all. Cali in the USA is next up too.

If you follow the apex predators you'll typically find the most biodiversity. They need the whole system underneath them healthy to flourish. So yeah that top corner in the north west is best but there's a little spot in the middle of New Mexico that is really "deep" as well.
