Perhaps (still undecided) I'd lean slightly towards clouded leopard due to skull bite, but if it doesn't get the skull bite or messes up its hold then it's a slippery slope the clouded leopard has to climb. Outfighting a wolverine and winning in a long, grueling battle is just something that might not be there with a CL. It's there for jaguars, and if the clouded leopard has that stamina boost and composure it could win... not sure.
I don't know if I should count on the skull bite or not, wolverine doesn't seem to be in a hurry to avoid a skull bite though.

I consider these two animals the top 2 contenders to face off with an apbt at equal weight, and I do consider the clouded leopard legit, but I actually think APBT vs Clouded leopard is closer than wolverine vs clouded leopard. I think wolverine smokes it here.

Make no mistake, I think apbt smokes CL as well for sure, but I guess there's like POSSIBLY an avenue for the CL to win by raking wounds or something, I don't think a CL can do anything to a wolverine. Beating a wolverine is a long drawn out ordeal. Only the apbt is built for the task.
