For reasons stated, I favor Dholes due to their pack cohesion.
Dholes could overwhelm and outnumber an Indian Wolf.
Which is expected for them, their social hierarchy is like those of ants, remove the colony and the ant is helpless. Whereas the Indian Wolf can be found in many different environments, even found alone a lot of times, and fight a lot.
Now in most cases, like Red Wolf vs African Wild Dog, I favor the Red Wolf due to the fact that the Red Wolf is a scrappy, fight-happy experienced family association.
Where as the African Wild Dog is in an ant in an ant colony, remove the other ants and you have nothing.
But weirdly enough, Indian Wolves seem to co-exist with other canids pretty well, and dholes and wolves tolerate each other.
See that? All foraging together, which is a rare occurrence.

So therefore in a fight I would favor the Dhole.
And one thing that seems weird to me is, the Indian wolf has not advanced from a Jackal.
For example, look at Mackenzie Valley Wolves and feral dogs. They constantly love killing each other and other canids, as expected for wolves.
Hell, wolves go after ranchers dogs too, as seen here.

And there are even cases of feral dogs going up and dominating Indian Wolves. It shows the difference between the two wolf subspecies, the feral dog loving fighting, killing each other and other canids. And then the Indian wolf still being a Jackal.
