Pussy nigga shut your mouth (Heh!) Muay Thai is awesome. If I was to learn a martial art I'd choose Muay Thai. Not only is it actually useful in realistic circumstances, but it's not as complex as e.g. Taekwondo, plus it looks cool - brutal as well.

If a Muay Thai artist fought someone on the street would they have a much higher chance of winning? I'd suggest an experienced street fighter or some dude who knows a bit of wrestling would beat a Muay Thai guy. I'm just assuming, since that's what I think about every other martial art and I can't imagine any way such a martial art would help against real life practical experience. Taekwondo seems pretty fucking useless TBH. Like actually no practical use. I think you know that too.

I'll look for some street fights now. Btw there was a case where a drunk Muay Thai champion knocked out a street-fighting bruiser in a 2 by 2 metre ring. Sent from my SM-A105FN using Tapatalk

Alright I can't find any good ones. Just crappy videos with shitty Muay Thai and/or street fighters. Kinda expected that though. The chances of a well-trained Muay Thai expert fighting a top street fighter are slim.
But what I will say is that the Muay Thai fighter wins more often. From the videos I've seen. Probably because the other fighter isn't expecting to me roundhouse-kicked in the head.

Even a sloppy street amateur who has trained wrestling for 2 weeks. And perhaps a boxer would knock the guy upside the head. However yeah Jack Peyton or Stephen Brown etc. etc. won't expect that and will probably not know what to do.

Back in the 20th century Westerns invited professionally fighters from the East to challenge their bests. This matchup was the same deal. The kickboxer was kicked in the shins thousands of times. And, well, at the end you saw what happened. He was pulled away on a stretcher at the end after being knocked out. I see the same happening in a street fight. And may I just add - the Muay Thai fighter broke his jaw after the first round. The thing with Muay Thai fighters is that they don't get knocked out easily. This is because they train to harden their bodies by repeatly attacking punching bags, wooden boards etc. Not to mention Muay Thai fighters are fit and lean while street fighters are sweaty hobos. I'm picturing a street fighter being kicked in the shin and immediately falling to the ground as he holds onto his leg crying.

I think Krav Maga is the most useful martial art. Followed by Sambo.

If someone tries to roundhouse kick you in the head, you grab the leg and twist them onto their back. Then you either put your leg on their chest, or kick them in the stomach and then put your leg on their chest. Then you can go to the ground and start slamming their face.

I feel like it would be better to grab the leg and twist them down, because it humiliates them more for trying to use stupid methods they saw in a movie.

Now the third option is to grab their leg, then kick them upwards, in the crotch. In this position, they would have absolutely no defence for it, and it would definitely humiliate them.
