7/10 in favor of 3 dholes... maybe. I'm not sure, I don't know how agile the dire wolf was and whether it could catch and kill all 3 or not.

The problem is we have absence of evidence. Which is not evidence of absence, but there's nothing on dholes harassing something like a wolf, nor their close counterparts, AWDs. I actually think dholes and AWDs should be apart of the same family. Perhaps the dhole would be like the clouded leopard, having its own genus but being apart of the same family as AWDs. Because they can't hybridize I don't think... it'd be cool if they could though.
