I feel this is Hammerhead's fault, the stress of the spamming caused Ling's heart to blow out. Hopefully it can be fixed, that would be scary, we're rooting for you buddy!

Alright so I rung them today and they said that everything was fine. It probably isn't a big deal for you guys but for me, it's literally the best day of my life. Honestly. I've had this chest pain for months on end, worrying that it was heart or lung-related, so when the doctor said it was possible I had something coinciding with said thing, I was shitting my self. I thought my life was over before. So to hear that everything was fine and my blood results were normal - is fucking fantastic news. I'm over the moon right now.

I also understand how weird it is when shit gets serious for you and people are kind of jerking off and you realise people really don't give a fuck. I'm not saying I don't give a fuck, just empathising that I bet you kind of realised when shit really hits the fan for you as an individual that the "care" from other people is underwhelming and you kind of realise everyone is a fucking asshole and you better look after yourself because no one else is going to. Reminds me of a time I was doing a mandatory first aid course, and this big fat guy couldn't get up off the ground and his face went dark purple and he started having some kind of heart problem/ fainting episode, he looked around the room at everyone with wide-eyes like "help me" and everyone kind of looked away and pretended they didn't see him, including the first aid instructor with all the equipment to save someone's life. He didn't quite die and managed to roll over and find his own way up, but it was just so clear in that moment that all the people who were being nice to him and smiling at him over the previous few days suddenly were willing to let him die and do nothing and not give a single shit. Very sobering reality check for him and me tbh, watching on. I was actually the only one kind of looking around the room at people like "shouldn't someone help, umm... expert?? Can you help?" and she was intentionally looking away and pretending to not see him dying. Brutal. Just remember to have that mentality, the world is not your friend, it's trying to kill you and you have to fight for each day you want to stay alive. People are animals, and gross ones at that, you better be struggling to survive with the same urgency as a leopard or you will get fucked. |
