Dingos hunt buffalo
Its pretty smart how they each distract the big buffalo to presumably snatch a calf.

Good stuff. Very wolf-like behaviour, which ofcourse makes perfect sense as it essentially is a funny looking wolf. The testing of the buffalos and then moseying off, they'll revisit those very buffalos regularly and do that again and again, eventually find a weakness that will be an avenue to cause damage and then later worsen the damage and etc until eventually it is time for "harvest". Those are "their" buffalo, as far as they are concerned, and they're just monitoring and working them and playing the long game. Between "rancher" duties they will supplement their diet with lizards and snakes and rodents and rabbits and wallabies, bandicoots, even fish possibly. I actually see them as hunter gatherers with an embryonic brand of pastoralism, one they would later teach humans.

While we're posting dingo media I just thought I'd store this here, it's a really great documentary about the dingo situation from many angles-
