Many people on the internet are quick to point out how dangerous Australian wildlife are. However, I think that title belongs to Africa. Both continents have crocodiles, constrictors, and venomous snakes. Australia has dingoes (and had thylacines in the past) while Africa has African wild dogs as well as larger carnivores like hyenas. Australia has emus and cassowaries while Africa has ostriches. Australia has kangaroos but African herbivores are deadlier IMO.

The only reason Australia is even dangerous at all is because of the invasive species. A stray catch dog abandoned in the outback are the apex predators of Australia. A human with a stick is an apex predator if you take away the invasive species, which probably won't even attack you to begin with.

America is more dangerous than Australia, Australia doesn't reach Africa's ankles.

Yeah Australia is insanely overrated for dangerous animals. There's weirdly a lot of venomous animals I guess, which is annoying, but you can literally kill all of them with a stick. I'm not scared of anything in the wilderness of Australia except maybe a scrub bull. Africa is ridiculous obviously, India is wild as well. So many dangerous animals. North America is pretty bad too. Brown bears are terrifying, moose are pretty bad as well. Gators might not be as bad as Saltwater crocs but they actually live around lots of people while no one lives near saltwater crocs in Australia. The snakes of Australia ARE annoying, that's one thing where the reputation is kind of deserved like I actually do regularly have very deadly snakes in my back yard. But at the same time no one ever actually gets killed by them. Then a few quirky jellyfish and a deadly spider or two... I think Africa, Asia, North America, South America are all worse than Australia. Europe I will say is more nerfed but it's the only place.

Terrifying, they eat dead things and do nothing. That definitely changes the tide significantly, perenties dude? Did you know they are related to megalania? They'll eat your babies.

Perenties are cool as shit, the two main things they kill are snakes and feral cats, that's a lizard out for my own heart. But yeah no danger to humans.

Don't think they're readily available though, when able might have to settle for another similar monitor. They're pretty cool.
