I have seen many Treeing Walkers which I would feed and pet. At the same time i’ve seen many Treeing Walkers I would hard cull in a heartbeat. Like Hardcastle said, the issue relies on North American Scenthounds. North American Scenthounds will tear the shit out of an oblivious raccoon but when a raccoon decides to square up they run with their tails behind their legs. This is due to training. Many want this trait and breed for this trait. Treeing Walkers are most prominent. Even though there are many men I have seen which allow Treeing Walkers to go in and do the job, there are also men which breed for them to let the human to finish the job.

If you read the "big game hound" forums - link you start understanding WHY coonhounds are so disappointing from an "ava" perspective. Their mentality and attitude has shaped the branch of dogs, and they are literally annoyed when they are brave and combative. If they kill something it's disappointing and irritating to their owners/handlers, it seems because THEY want to kill it. So you start to understand how and why they have carefully crafted them into what they are. It wasn't a mistake. They walk this tightrope of wanting their hounds to be tough and persistent and persuasive but also very stand offish and fight averse. They live in that zone trying to balance the scales just right, and to me it's weird as hell but it is it's own thing I guess.

Many Treeing Walker Guys don’t like Plotts and idk why.

Well it can be the way they're raised, but if it's the way they're raised and the way their daddy raised his and his daddy and etc etc, it soon becomes part of the breed.

I love the sturdy mean video game scenthounds but they're not as cool in real life. 2:28 - 3:22 Kicked that wolf's ass. Meanwhile real life's pathetic reality:

Lol. I wonder why still no video game has done animals justice at all. They always float over the surface of the ground almost like they're skating on ice and are just all wrong.
