Eh, not liking the Presa's odds. I wouldn't worry about Persian leopards in the bush with a Presa Canario but in a death battle I would probably favor the leopard. Persian leopards average 130lbs so if we stick to average then I suppose it'd be a 50/50 with a very slight edge to Persian leopard. I'm envisioning a big-ish 120-130lb Presa BTW. The real working dog, a 70-100lb bulldog, would be outsized and killed. Wait, I just looked it up and they average 140lbs. Our Presa here is totally fucked.

I think a GOOD presa, though rare, is actually the closest thing you'll get today to something like caporal. So yeah I favour a huge male Persian leopard, BUT this is still one of the most difficult fights possible for it.

Well I think a good one is going to have more problems than a ''not good'' (decent still) larger 120-140lb Presa. The extra bulk would help here, ONLY for a big cat and nothing else. I would use a good Presa if we could reasonably assume a 60-100lb feline but this is not that.

Like yes a 140 lbs presa is too big and can't do what it's supposed to do (catch bulls), BUUUT it might well still be a huuuge problem for a big cat or a wolf or etc. There is immense power in such dogs.
