Unsual predation feats.

I actually think that there should be a thread of unusual predation events.

This can include stuff like herbivorous ungulates eating smaller animals.

Here is a confirmed case of a Hog Badger that killed an adult king cobra.

It is an interesting case since it is the first confirmed predation of an adult king cobra. That too it is done by an obscure predator, not by the more known mongoose or eagle.

Not unusual, but I think surprising to a lot of people is Fisher predation on lynx. The fact it's common is perhaps the most unusual part-

Then it wouldn't be unusual. I think honey badgers do it a lot and it's pretty well known to laymen.

That said, I don't find a hog badger doing it surprising.
Hog badgers are nasty and weigh up to 30 +lbs, there's probably a lot of stuff they can do.

Hardcastle To be fair, I was surprised because the badger is not really well known and there is not much info about other animals predating on an adult king cobra.


Also, no one has posted anything of a herbivore eating other animals?

Like this duiker eating a frog.
