Outted, thank the gods, I was really starting to hate that pretty quickly. But what do you mean I'm inactive, 391 posts over 2 months isn't inactive? Granted it's not living online on the daily but why do you have to do that to be considered active. "Ad hominin gay?" I'll get you back for that in about 5 years when I don't have to be kid friendly. That's two people who've referred to me in some way as gay on this thread. This thread I'm adding to the other things I hate lol. CoolJohnson recently claimed that he is straight, so is he or isn't he? Makes no difference to me at all, but enquiring minds need to know. lol Can I move the "ad hominin gay" hat to CoolJohnson? (kidding CoolJohnson!) But nah he's too interested in the World's Most Beautiful Women thread to be anything other than an objectifying women-loving stalker. |

When I joined up here there was 1 admin and 5 mods with 14 non staff members. Now here we are with about 30 members with no administrator. Why can't you guys get it right? lol Ajay is masquerading as our admin. He's inactive, and also gay but in an ad hominem way and not a true way like CoolJohnson. I just wanna say something about the Admin issue as I've been feeling rotten about not being straight up and I think the board deserves an explanation. We did originally intend to transfer my account to forum control, however when we tried it turned out control can't be transferred from one account to another. For me to be the real Admin requires me to take on Hardcastle's account (with all his history, even his PMs unless he deletes them first). For the record my account has been given full Admin powers and on the Groups board I'm the only account recorded as being in the "Admin" group. However even when we delete Hardcastle's account from the Admin group his account retains full Admin powers as well as forum control. Anyway I started feeling rotten about not being straight up, both on the public forum and particularly on PMs where I was having to talk 1-on-1 to what I consider mates like Bolushi about Admin issues. So I began taking a backseat dealing with Admin issues and even kind of talking to people at all, just to avoid further bullshitting. I'd be willing to genuinely assume forum control and all responsibilities but proboards makes it hard by not allowing transfer of forum control to another account. Once an account is initially set up as the controlling account it's tied in as the controlling account for as long as the forum exists. So Hardcastle, he's stuck with it whether he would want it or not. |

I changed my username then the member who took over from me (Drac) did this: He went from @drac to @drac (administrator), he simply went to his profile (edit profile) and added the (administrator) to his username. Don't forget to add the ( ) on either side of "administrator" |

Don't forget to add the ( ) on either side of "administrator" When I went to profile settings I found an option where I could choose to be displayed as whatever group I'm in. It was set on Global Moderator so I changed it to Administrator. That's why my username now shows up in admin red. We couldn't understasnd why my account wouldn't display as an Administrator but there it was right in the profile settings. So I did the (Administrator) thing to my username. Does that change account configurations in some way or just a display feature? |

I see you now have ADMINISTRATOR, that means you don' t need the (Administrator) anymore, may as well get rid of it.
P.S. When you log in, do you now log in as admin? Can you now use all the admin features such as "security" etc.?

^^^It's just a display feature but it is very important. This way everyone now knows who and what you are, and now HardCastle will not be receiving Pm's as you now will. I think highlighting it all in red is a nice touch. lol P.S. I see you have ADMINISTRATOR, that means you don' t need the (Administrator) anymore, may as well get rid of it. I also show up as Administrator in the Members tab now, although it looks like I still tag as "@ + ajay" and Antonio as "@ + admin". No completely getting around it! |

See what Antonio thinks, but whatever the case I'd prefer my part be an honest representation. I'm sort of leaning towards Antonio officially taking it back as I also feel he would find it hard to give it up while in practice retaining the real Admin account. After all this forum is his creation which he's understandably invested in and wants to nurture. Giving up control of that and taking a backseat would be hard. I'd also be more than fine with being an assistant Admin to a senior Admin, but only openly. Although an assistant Admin wouldn't be needed in the first place if Antonio is openly Admining. |
