I thought you assumed Ling was Asian because Ling is a Chinese surname. I did, I was just being a smartass. I really do hate when people try and sell you ling though. Like eating a goldfish. I’ve never had ling (or goldfish for that matter, though I eat Goldfish crackers) before. I assume it’s similar to cod, haddock, or pollock because they’re all in the same family? (Not to be confused with the lingcod of the Pacific)

(Not to be confused with the lingcod of the Pacific) It's not. Don't know why. It's very bad. Kind of transluscent grey and gelatinous in texture before being cooked. After it's cooked doesn't make those big chunky flakes that real cod and haddock do. I totally refuse to eat it and I get so mad that it is served up casually. To me it's like if you went to a steak restaurant and they were like "well no cow today, but rat is basically the same thing". Tf? No.

Whereabouts are you from in Asia? Just curious. I’m Chinese. You should grow out your hair and get a middle part. You'd look extremely handsome @hammerhead. It would suit you.
