A quick square-cube law calculation puts this bigfoot at a little over 3,000kg.

What weight is it? I assume it's about the weight of the largest Silverback (270kg), in that case perhaps 6 good gripping dogs? The largest silverback was like maybe 5' 5"? So, probably more than that. 5'5"? I swear the average Eastern gorilla is like 5'9".

Using gorillas, chimps or gigantopithecus as any kind of guide for bigfoot/yeti/Yowie/sasquatch/whatever is ridiculous. I was just pulling my hair out watching Joe Rogan say gigantopithecus "perfectly matches" descriptions of bigfoot... No it doesn't. Not at all. Bigfoot is an upright bipedal running hominid by all testimonies, not a knuckle dragging ape.

How would you scale it? Bigfoot at 15ft tall, is taller than the tallest elephant ever(13ft). Think about that. Due to being bipedal though, bigfoot only weighs 3,000kg, as much a very large white rhino, or an african forest elephant. Bigfoot would be the largest animal in the western hemisphere.
