Promoting the forum/inviting people

Not gonna lie, Hammerhead is a big loss, I feel like we now need to ramp up our efforts to get this board going or we run the risk of it fizzling out like oh so many before it.
I know for a fact there is a big population of people out there who just need to know this board exists, they've been wishing and waiting for such forums to come back, but they don't know one is back and I don't know how to reach them.

Lets use this thread to brainstorm ideas and talk about our efforts to get more members.

I have started just shamelessly promoting the board on Quora because I kind of don't give a shit about quora anymore-
Do naturalists adhere to the approach that science, reason and experience are the sources of knowledge while faith is not?

But lets try and think of other things we can do. Is anyone still on reddit? Facebook? What kind of animal facebook groups are there? I haven't been on facebook since 2012.

Bolushi one day, when you feel motivated/up to it, you could use your masterful montage video editing skills to make a promotional youtube video for the forum. I'd avoid rap music, instead use like dramatic classical music like -






and not dogs ripping things to pieces, like hummingbirds drinking nectar and flowers unfurling their petals in the morning, interpersed with predators attacking things and other amazing scenes of nature. It could be your masterpiece. And then link to our board in it somehow.

I'm in some facebook groups so I could post it there, but in new members you'd get argentinian boar and cougar hunters that think this sucks and also some florida hog dog guys who also think this sucks and don't give a fuck about nature. It'd just be rallying grumbling stupid hunters.

You're not on any nerdy ant pages or any other kind of wild animal groups? I'd be surprised if they don't exist. Yeah grunting hunters aren't much use. Our dog guy levels are ok anyway.
