I agree with Hardcastle's ranking of the current members but he has to drop Mojave a few places. Mojave started out at Domain of the Bears before coming to Carnivora; he just joined the place in order to argue that a Siberian tiger can kill a polar bear face-to-face, to support his ideas he started posting size comparisons between hilariously upscaled tigers and malnourished/female polar bears to make them close in size. As we clearly didn't jump on that train and stopped his bullshit spreading of misinformation he waited until all of the admins were offline. Like a snake he then spammed the whole forum with pornographic content of homosexual black men, in hindsight this was the most hilarious thing I've ever seen and I can laugh it off now. But I'd still be careful, he has now found a place full with fellow cat fans, however, if everyone turned on him, he'd go back to the roots... Reminds me on a guy on Quora that used a photo of a Bengal Tiger (average male weight: 210kg) killing a Sloth Bear (average male weight: 109kg) as proof a Siberian Tiger (average weight: 190kg) would kill a Kodiak Bear (average weight: 488kg) head-on. No, you have shin way too high and selwyn too low IMO. Shin should not be elevated above hardly anyone, he has never had any value other than a bit of "sass". He is usually very wrong and doesn't do a good job of arguing his case. Currently arguing with mojave, ae and avian in SBT vs ocelot thread, not very heated though, and I don’t have particularly strong opinions on the matchup but them accepting a post 5 years ago by shenzi (with not even a single study in there, just him speculating peccaries can be felled by ocelots), but then they are dismissing like 4 actual studies posted by Warsaw because it is doesn’t support their favourite animals…

I don't get the impression Komododo is as deeply knowledgeable about any animal in particular to that level (at least not on display in the debates I am following), but has a very good broad knowledge and then both are highly rational and logical and articulate. It is hard to split them. Bongo definitely climbs up to the top with komododo now that he is engaging in the discussion. Above apexboy anyway. Maybe I'm biased? But f*ck apexboy, lol. Reichinowi is indeed easily the worst catfan on bestiary now that the massive fools have been driven away, very "carnivoran" views on dogs anyway. I tend to patiently wait to give them an opportunity to absorb dog respect through osmosis before writing them off totally. But yeah he doesn't seem too open to learning. A lot of people just have an innate disdain for even the thought of dog success against a noble wild animal, like an acidic sickening taste in the back of their mouth they can't shake. He seems like that kind of guy right now. |

Definitely way better than Reichinowi, still makes no bones about being very leopard biased, which is ok because they aren't shut off to info generally. I'm probably the dog equivalent of shortridge I guess. But maybe both of us would be better served to chill with our defense sometimes. Lol. |

Lol, wouldn't surprise me, but also I find that wildlife-involved guys occasionally end up hating pitbulls or sometimes just all dogs. They destroy their precious wildlife they grew up on. They view some caracal in the forest getting killed by someone's dog the same way I would view my dog getting butchered to death by wolves. I mean I would feel bad for the Doberman but I'd feel worse for the pitbull punished for attacking it, and I'd love the reaction on AA's face. Dobermans are completely garbage, unfathomably bad, they shouldn't be a thing anyway. Of course, as a living thing and a dog they deserve the right to not get mauled to death while people are watching by a pitbull but AA doesn't deserve a dog that's alive anymore if they're going to talk shit like a fag afterwards. Saying that as someone who's dog was attacked by a pitbull, posted the pics on this board a while back. AA is Tyamonganimals. Wait what? Really? |

AE revising history on carnivora in the sbt/ocelot thread, talking about "I debated Dale and Bolushi on this many times" yes and got OWNED badly every single time. No one just denies and carries on like AE. Doing the same in the fisher vs lynx discussion with komododo. Just gets dragged and destroyed but acts like nothing happened. He's an infuriating human being.
