If wildebeest weren't capable of repelling leopard attacks why would they even be viable in leopard country? They can escape a lion and use their acute senses and savviness to evade lions who live knockabout lives in the open, but a leopard just attacks out of nowhere and blends in perfectly with the terrain. So a good wildebeest needs to be able to rid itself of that threat most of the time, and in most cases they do it via fending off the leopard. Wildebeest are hideously retarded BTW, just watched a video of a wildebeest attacking its own baby long after the leopard had fled. Fucking friendly fire. Would have given you my like if not for those last 2 lines. Mean! The human equivalent would be you getting attacked, and your mother attacks the assailants with a machete, but once they flee she confuses you as an assailant and decapitates you.

Has to do more with their poor vision than being "retarded"

Has to do more with their poor vision than being "retarded" I hope so, but the fact that they look like a cape buffalo with down syndrome isn't encouraging.

Bongo indeed has a bias towards Herbivores, we are all biased to different degrees. You just have to admit it. Still his pro-herbivore bias is small compared to 8Avian8's pro-Cat bias for example

Yeah everyone who is a fan of a certain animal and argues for them is going to be biased to some degree. And that is OK, in fact it's good to have people representing different kinds of animals, GIVEN that the representation is intelligent. The problem is, your most die-hard dedicated cat fans are - Felinepower 8Avian8 Mondas Animal Enthusiast Basically a bunch of people who think like this guy - Which is why cat fans are the most despised, rightfully so, fanbase on the internet. The diamonds amongst the sand would be Andres, Supercat, Chui and guys like that, but they are few and far in-between. The problem is when you start out in AvA debates, most of these people grew up idolizing cats watching nat geo docs on them and etc. etc., they will never concede a loss for their animal. After all it's their spirit animal. Their Zodiac sign would be "Big Panthera the Great" and they would photoshop a constellation in the sky to prove it's real.

It’s probably an inexperienced mother or that a lot of ungulates have pretty poor vision in certain lighting and the cow heard the calf’s distress calls and assumed a predator was attacking it and eventually severely wounded the calf. <— this mother did a god job of deterring the predator.

Yes that's exactly the video I'm referring to. The other video bodes much better for the wildebeest. Poor eyesight sucks, I'm willing to assume that's the issue at hand as opposed to just outright stupidity. I've seen multiple instances where bovines just completely blunder, like here - It's like they get agitated and try to help but end up confusing the 2 shapes in front of it.

What was your last post on Bestiary? I was going to debate you since you mentioned the kudu being taken down by the leopard as young, and it was based on the biggest animals.

Don't want to be a debbie downer but I think part of the reason why its hard for AVA forums to fledge is because while Taipan has a bad habit of banning people for no reason, some of them are justified and those dregs often go to the alternatives. I think the recent debacle illustrates that issue.
Hopefully CF's influence declines though.

I think the recent debacle illustrates that issue. Hopefully CF's influence declines though. I feel like some known issues across the entire animal community should be blacklisted from every forum ever. Like Hammerhead. The AvA community has been a little TOO generous, and particularly too generous to complete idiots who offer nothing. HH is firmly on this list and he is the root cause of everything if you think of it. AE would've never existed if it weren't for HH (and AE's weird love for young vulnerable boys). Now that could also come back to fuck me if they did that since I have been banned on every forum I've ever been on (including this one, and Bestiary, and also Quora if it counts, nearly every discord server and now I get banned on sight if I join and someone recognizes me, carnivora, anywhere I was active) but I'm also not a seedy dumb fag I'm just an asshole. Assholes are fine, hackery doxxy mentally unstable cretins are not fine.
