8avian8 is truly the most absurd guy ever. I am handing him the crown, over felinepower and mondas and xismxist and everyone. He's the most oblivious and shameless, he actually seems sincerely shocked and appalled that people don't just go along with his bullshit. The leopard vs spotted hyena thread has some real gems- Leopard v Spotted Hyena - Carnivora

I prefer "semi-realistic" matchups where the 2 animals co-exist. And a Male Northwestern Wolf has a 10-15kg size advantage over the Alano so i think it's too much.

Why the female though? I've never heard of Alanos hunting wolves (Alano couldn't catch one). Any evidence? Bulldogs have fought and mauled wolves in cage fights even in modern times on video, and I suspect they've been used as lead-in catch dogs with bailers based on some historical imagery, but running down and hunting wolves is not something an Alano can do. Also note the wolf is considerably taller and longer despite even being slightly heavier. Alano is a lot stronger, and would neutralize the wolf's weapon. What are your thoughts on this video where a shitty pet Amstaff fucks a much larger (visually) wolf? my.mail.ru/mail/princheshea13a/video/_myvideo/8.html

They are about the same weight. Simple as. Male Iberian Wolf Vs Alano i think it's a bit too much since Male Wolf has both a weight advantage and a weaponry advantage

Where do you find all these obscure Russian fight videos lol? Also i don't think that was a Wild Wolf. It was stored in a cage and didn't even seem to fight back

Why wouldn't it be wild? It could've been captured from the wild. It's a common practice to capture wolves from the wild there. Either scenario is possible but they do trap wolves there.

My belief is that unless that was the most cowardly Wolf in existance, a Wild Wolf would actually fight back lol. It's as much of a freak case as if a Chihuahua attacked a Pitbull and the Pitbull not fighting back and letting the Chihuahua push him across the floor and repeteadly bite him while the Pitbull cries but doesn't defend itself

Taipan banned me from Carnivora despite not breaking any rule for merely saying Wildebeests aren't hopeless against Leopards if they decide to stay and fight, lol.

He continously asked me to provide evidence of Wildebeests injuring Leopards. And when i did he claimed that doesn't count even though the Leopard ran for his money because "the injuries were superficial"

Leopard predation on Wildebeest does seem rare, it just feels like you hardly ever see it. I think it behooves Savannah leopards to target smaller prey due to the fact they will likely need to cache it in a tree or lose it. This pattern over time might make them less well equipped to take larger prey.
