The Asian dog attacks are mostly Tibetan Mastiffs and shit. Everywhere else has a very high concentration of pitbulls, USA and Latin America especially. South Africans deal with Boerboels and sometimes pitbulls.

Yes, because who pulls out a camera and starts filming after being nipped by a border collie? This is my point. Pitbulls aren't attacking more, it's simply more noteworthy when they do attack. They aren't more likely to attack, they are less likely. When they attack it's bad. You can't punish a breed because it's physically capable. Otherwise we should go and arrest George Foreman on the grounds that if he does attack it will be bad. Pitbulls that do attack get executed, that should be enough to satiate your lust for revenge. You can't punish the ones who haven't done anything and statistically almost certainly won't.

Yes, because who pulls out a camera and starts filming after being nipped by a border collie? I mean it's a well-known fact that Pitbull's kill the most humans per year out of every dog breed.

When pitbulls attack, it is bad. I said this. They aren't more likely to attack. I don't believe you should be punished for being physically capable. Punished because IF you attack, it will be bad. That doesn't sit right with me. The dogs who do attack and kill people all get euthanised immediately, no trial or nothing. That should be enough.

No they don't. Their attacks make the statistics because they are significant.

Considering a lot of countries and territories have enforced a BSL on shitbulls indicates that they have common sense and concern for the safety of their people.
They do not have time for pitmonmy excuses like "chiuahuas are meaner and bite more" or the idiotic "it is the owner not the dog".
In the end, this breed needs BSL or even euthanasia.

BSL is specifically designed to appease panicked low IQ soccer moms. It takes 1 sensationalised story of 1 dog mauling one old lady or whatever to produce a chorus of nervous morons writing angry letters to politicians and council members to do something, and banning breeds is just the lowest effort way to shut them up. You have far too much faith in government if you think genuine analysis and rational thought went into such decision making.

Im talking about those furmommies who want to paint dogs as less dangerous and less capable then their wild cousins.

It's actually contrary to my whole main argument that these dogs are more formidable than wild animals.

Wild animals are less dangerous though as they have a healthy fear of humans. Unless humans feed them deliberately or they have a disease. Wolves and feral dogs would never attack a human, and those cases you do hear are either isolated incidents, mistakes, or misidentifications. Either a dog is a mistaken for a wolf or they view them the same which they are but besides the point. Those stray or farmers dogs attacking humans in the rural countryside are not feral dogs, they still haven’t lost fear of humans. Even though they are often called that.

I would say BSL has reduced bites/fatalities caused by pitbulls in some studies.
Even if that is not the case, then why do we need pitbulls? I recollect a wise person stating that "putting a pitbull in use is like having a samurai sword for gardening". Essentially outdated and dangerous for the public.
