Liger  From left to right- African Lion, Liger, House Cat, American lion  American lion and average African lion  The largest verified skull of Smilodon Populator whoose estimates give a maximum weight estimate of 947 lbs (436 kgs) , the skull measures 392 mm  However, there's an alleged even larger reported skull of a possible even larger outlier allegedly measuring 408 mm, via isometric scale if this skull exists for real it might belong to a monster cat bordering the absolutely gigantinc size of 1060 - 1100 lb (480 - 500 kgs). But for now, with the largest verifiable skull of 392 mm, the maximum size sits at 900 - 940+ lbs or 400-430+ kgs |

Wow, the american Lion is totally ridiculous. I feel like this species has been badly undersold by being called the "american lion". It makes everyone just think it was a regular lion living in America. If they called it the "zooberon" I feel like people would be way more hyped for this monster cat.
