You guys can make your own threads. I'm down and out for an undetermined amount of days/weeks. Were you caught lacking? Yes, I was making coffee and Lincoln sucker punched me and the coffee gave me 2nd degree burns everywhere. That'll teach me.

Bolushi Pack of 5 dogs (any breed) vs pack of 5 raptors (any genus) 5 Bullwolfhounds v 5 Deinonychus sounds fair. You make it. I've been on a phone for the past 4 days.

A 100 kg raptor would eat that dog, it's on par with a Jaguar lol. "Campione and his colleagues proposed a higher mass estimate of 100 kg (220 lb) based on femur and humerus circumference."

I disagree, the Bullwolfhound is just as tall and could neutralize deinonychus. Plus 5v5 would put deinonychus at a huge disadvantage due to being solitary iirc. + if deinonychus is toppled over it's going to have a bad time. I still favor deinonychus because it's big and a carnivore 1v1 but 5v5 is way harder. Jaguars would be a lot more difficult and jags would win every time.

At least deinonychus had claws that could actually kill. I won't claim to know what would happen, but I'd be very worried to let my dog near one. The way big eagles "punch above their weight" it's possible raptors did also. They don't seem like a good matchup for dogs. Can imagine the dog grabbing it and then it rakes defensively but it's rakes actually have real devastating substance.

If they can slash through the hide of large herbivorous dinosaurs they’d be able to do the same to a medium-sized dog.

And each jaguar can kill a dog in seconds if they are deinonychus weight.

Was there a Dunkleosteus vs Great White Shark thread on this forum? Don't think it was GWS but similar. Might have been.

Was there a Dunkleosteus vs Great White Shark thread on this forum? We were talking about dunkleosteus against some other prehistoric shark similar in size to a great white but supposedly way better (though I was a little dubious it was really better). I'm struggling to even find it now...
