Alligator Gar vs Alligator Snapping Turtle Unfortunately I'll have to deem that a mismatch, even if the gar grabbed the turtle's head it wouldn't do much damage as it's a fish eater. A snapper's bite in turn can rip your hand off and grotesquely disfigure your arm. I like gars (if I ever am responsible enough to keep fish I will get a gar) but a gator snapper is going to bite it once and rip chunks out of it. |

When I think of animals that are good ''middle weight'' competitors in hypothetical battles I think black bear, sun bear, sloth bear, cougar, leopard, wolf, dog... not giant panda. For all I know a lynx could kill one. Sitting on your ass eating bamboo isn't really ideal. Perhaps I'll go with 2 feral dogs. |

Or maybe not... something lesser. Pandas literally idly throw haymakers, watch panda fights and watch black/grizzly bear fights. It's totally different. Can pandas fight at all is the question.

Carnivora has a request thread because Taipan is a control freak and has to be the one to post the thread. Requesting it and then posting it yourself doesn't make much sense. When I made it, it was under the guise that there would be lowly human beings requesting threads.
