I don't see a fox killing such a large raccoon. I'd take the raccoon vast majority of the time. The fox doesn't have the damage dealing abilities, can't grapple (problem with a songbird skeleton), not as durable. It could pick apart a raccoon but the fox would give up on doing that when it realizes it won't be able to do that before the raccoon either gets away or latches onto it.
