Working Kerry Blue Terrier are extremely rare almost extinct…. Would give the Airedale a solid edge now a days with some exceptions of course.

I wonder... if you had an unusually big kerry blue, and a very small airedale, lets say both 23 kgs adult males... is it possible the Kerry might have an edge due to not having scenthound blood? Just thinking out loud and trying my best to entertain the question. I've heard Kerry Blues are quite tough, and releated to Wheatens which I know are very tough. Airedales are tough too, but I dunno... usually scenthound blood hurts a dog combatively, maybe not with otterhound since they are unusually tough scenthounds tbh.
