I would favor the Ridgeback. Would bully and bite the cat to death. If it has a significant size edge or works catch dog it wins too. CL could win by raking or outgrappling dog so it's close. Assuming a max weight SCL here. If the ridgeback monsters the cat in weight it will simply pick the thing up and break its neck.

I'd favour the RR but it's "hardness level" would benefit from being on the higher side. Too tentative and the CL is possibly just substantial enough to make it pay. I do think the CL is quite legit, the one genuine "big cat" in the under 25 kgs weight range.

Yeah, sorry for the late response. I remembered this question. I'll be honest, I haven't really read much about the clouded leopard (I actually have not done as much research into any other cat as much as I have into cougars, sometimes I wonder whether I'm a cat fan or just a cougar fan), but if I find anything interesting, I'll let you know. BTW, I think the Ridgeback wins this, it's bigger, has experience with wild boars, etc.
