What so you're entitling that you'd favour a 20kg snake over a 220kg snake? Sent from my SM-A105FN using Tapatalk obviously at parity. I mean there's no credible accounts of a 220kg anaconda in the wild. There are captive anacondas this big but they would be grossly obese. A wild anaconda half the size would already be huge. On that note I'd favor a fit 20 kg snake over a sluggish obese 220 kg one

I'll send you an image of this snake in particular. It clearly isn't as big as some other one's. Brazil's known for being poor at recording and studying wild animals. Even ask metasuchus, the guy that lives in Brazil. Sent from my SM-A105FN using Tapatalk

It probably was a pregnant female with eggs or it still had food it hadn't digested yet.

A 150lb anaconda with an 100lb deer inside of it does not make the snake 250lbs. Just throwing that out there.

The fact that the maximum """"recorded""""" weight is only 97kg is crazy and obviously not the largest individual. Sent from my SM-A105FN using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-A105FN using Tapatalk Given the study of 780 anacondas conducted here. a maximum of 97 kg is not "crazy" at all as it is one standard deviation above your "upper limit" so it is very reasonable that anacondas will top out at around 100 kg. web.archive.org/web/20160303202240/http://www.anacondas.org/diss/disser.pdf#

Sent from my SM-A105FN using Tapatalk I agree I said " A wild anaconda half the size would already be huge" which would be 110 kg and "would be huge" doesn't even imply thats the absolute maximum although Id say its very close. Again if the largest anaconda out of nearly 1000 couldn't even surpass 100 kg, it is ridiculous to assume a healthy wild anaconda even has the ability to approach the number you initially gave me which was 220 kg. 100 kg+ anacondas are already have a less than 1 in 1000 chance of occurring and anything much larger would be impossible if you understood how standard deviations work and frankly this math doesn't change unless you can produce studies that empty stomach 100 kg + anacondas make up a significant proportions of sexually mature female anacondas

It's tiny (not really but you know what I mean). Just compare to some other unverified giant anacondas. (first one is the largest verified 'conda, other 2 are unweighed individuals) Sent from my SM-A105FN using Tapatalk
