Well I'd agree if we were talking native animals. Native Australian animals are trash, our honour is restored only thanks to invasive/feral animals. It's kind of weird for a dork who likes snakes and sharks to say that though, Australia should be paradise to you. Limited pesky placental mammals to make your pea-brained archaic "machinimals" look as stupid as they are. The type of shit you see in your backyard is quite nice compared to what people see in other english speaking countries. Kangaroos, dingos, lace monitors > Deer, coyote, and raccoons.

Sent from my SM-A105FN using Tapatalk It's literally like tied 3rd most relevant with Canada. If you're one of those people who think foreign countries that don't even speak english count as countries that's crazy. No. There's just USA, UK, Canada/Australia, New Zealand/South Africa and that's it. That's all the relevant countries.

Dingoes and coyotes are equal, but deer are way better than kangaroos. Luckily we have deer, they're actually the animal I'm most excited to see. My local area alone actually has 3 species- red, rusa and fallow. Then after that I probably get most psyched for red fox and European brown hare. Then feral pigs, feral goats and wild cattle. After that ... We do have some cool native birds. But yeah Australia is relatively shitty for native animals. Second worst continent besides Antarctica would be about right.

Why do you like deer more than kangaroos?

How could you not? Deer are arguably my favourite wild animal. They trigger a most basic primal instinct of joy and excitement when you see them, probably linked to an ancestral history of hunting them extensively going back hundreds of thousands of years.

Yes. What could be cooler than something like this- This? Not better, but not bad. Even though I'm a cat hater I actually really like a smallish temperate woodland cat. Also like Pine Martens and Fishers. And badgers, and red squirrels... but the mighty stag is surely the lord of the forest.
