It's likely the first humans to leave Africa were guys like that, and so when they encountered Neanderthals the Neanderthals would have actually been huge despite being like 5'7" and 74 kgs. Denisovan were possibly considerably larger still (maybe 6ft and 90 kgs), and that is why I think the bigfoot myth actually stems from Denisovan encounters.

Curious what you guys think is happening here- I saw people talking about it on quora, and none of them were interpreting the action how I would. Thoughts?

Ok I will stop being cryptic and weird since no one gives a shit. I just honestly think the original gecko was preying on the snake, and then the second gecko is stealing its meal, basically. I mean I think the original gecko wasn't having an easy time, necessarily, I think it got its grab on an ineffective place (and actually the second did as well), so its entirely possible the snake would have escaped the first gecko, maybe even turned the tables, but I really think the first gecko initiated the engagement. I was actually really impressed with the moves and commitment of the second gecko.
People on quora thought it was a male gecko rescuing his mate from a snake, lol.

I saw that video before and never really bought that. A gecko does not have the mental power to "save" anything but themselves. I did however think the first gecko was in a bind and the 2nd gecko's presence saved its ass.

Possibly, but I still think the original gecko actually seized the snake with the intention of eating it, rather than vice versa. I loved the moves of the second gecko, it was a badass.

Funny video but none of the commenters understand what's going on. Of course they assume the dog is screaming out of fear, but that's actually a frustrated whine from excited bloodlust.
