All animals that have some sort of venom or bacteria are excluded. As this would just make each list boring and monotonous. Anyways, I think it's pretty safe to say that the Great white shark is number one. I know I'm bias but, being able to rip through a Humpback whale over 12 times your size is no joke. I don't think any marine predator below 10,000-15,000kg could survive a well-placed bite from this shark. Just my take though. Hardcastle Bolushi lincoln theundertaker45 Methane oldgreengrolar @ajay

I would disqualify sharks in general. Or sea animals. Just makes things boring to me... I think a wolf's snap is a terrible thing to contend with. It doesn't have any freakish biteforce but the mechanics of its snaps have the POTENTIAL to fuck up most terrestrial animals even if it's more likely to miss or not be attempted. I think a gripping dog's bite is one of the worst, because the bite isn't just a bite, it's forcing you to fight it. So the bite quickly becomes a full on mauling. I think an alligator or crocodile's bite is similar to the latter but only in water where you get your appendages torn off. Those are all that come to mind.

I mean there's not a lot an animal can do when grasped onto one. It's literally in the name. And I guess you could disqualify sharks. The list would be full of them.

Crocodiles and sharks are a given, millions of years evolving lethal and crippling bites. Out of all the terrestrial animals though, Hippos likely have the most dangerous jaws, they're absolutely massive.

If we are including aquatics I think it'd be like this:
1. Great white shark 2. Orca (Killer whale) 3. Tiger shark 4. Saltwater crocodile 5. Nile crocodile

Disqualifying sealife for being "boring" isn't really a good way to get a good answer it's like if you asked which insects build colony's besides ants bees etc it genuinely doesn't make sense

But overall who has the deadlier set of jaws is up for debate. The orca has the size advantage but I'm not sure if it would be enough to overtake the shark.

Probably 1. Orca & great white 2. Smaller mackerel sharks (more generally because it's harder to determine) 3. eastern diamondback rattlesnake 4. Spotted hyena 5. Saltwater crocodile 6. Nile crocodile 7. Grey wolves

If we are including marine life, imo:
1. Great white shark 2. Orca (Killer whale) 3. Other large macropredatory sharks (e.g. Shortfin mako shark, Bull shark, Tiger shark, etc) 4. Saltwater crocodile 5. Nile crocodile
